Meditation Resources

by IAMLC Admin on July 28, 2011

Meditation is a key practice for developing your ability to be calm and centered, and aware of when you are living from your essence or drama.

The meditation resources that we list here are ones we have been recommending to clients for years, that we have also been personally using for years.

Immrama Institute

The Immrama Institute specializes in ‘brainwave technology‘ products. All of the products that they offer are excellent. For support in reducing stress, relaxing your mind, or starting a meditation practice, we recommend:

Abraham Hicks

Ester Hicks channels Abraham. Channeling may not be your thing; the idea is a bit odd! But we can’t argue with the practical results that we’ve achieved with the Abraham material. For meditation, we recommend:

IAM Learning Approach

by dianecraver on February 23, 2011

Below are our ideas and perspectives about learning. Learning is central to everything we do – it’s even in the middle of our name.

The way we approach learning may be very different than what you’re used to, or maybe it isn’t.

Recently a friend of mine attended a workshop & when one of the attendees arrived late, the facilitator reacted with anger, even removing the person’s chair. Holy crap! We are so not like that.

Everyone is welcome, and everyone’s perspective is welcome. We’re not big rule followers, so we’ve kept rules to a minimum – mostly for the safety of our members.

Our Promise: We will do our best to earn your trust and treat you with the dignity & respect you deserve.

Learning is a tool to invoke your imagination. There are countless books, articles, blogs, workshops, and courses available that include diverse perspectives … and that’s fantastic. We don’t want to shut anyone down – and we will challenge each other to be more and more conscious!

We agree with Einstein that imagination rules. That’s our aim here in the IAM Learning Community – to be a spark for your imagination. We don’t have all the answers and neither do you – but as a community, we can be brilliant. We can change the world! Oh yeah, that’s bold. :-)

Learning is for everyone, not just the wealthy, privileged, teacher’s pets. It’s been said that when you teach a woman, you change a community. We agree … and we’re not letting you men off the hook. We need your gifts too. Together, we are powerful!

Everyone learns differently, and that’s good. Do you know how you learn best? Most people don’t. We invite you to know how you learn best so that you can easily & quickly receive value. All learning styles are honored and supported in our materials, so rock on.

Learning is not meant to be hoarded. We created a community so that  learning is shared abundantly. Protected knowledge stifles creativity & innovation. We want none of that. The IAM Maps and many resources are free. Freedom rules!

Sometimes learning is about unlearning. We invite you to let go of things you’ve learned that are no longer useful or keep you stuck. That’s when drama happens. We aren’t meant to stay in drama. We’re meant to feel good and be our best.

Learning is a process. We use our IAM Maps to help ground your learning in a simple, meaningful, practical methodology. Through consistent investments of your time and energy, the cumulative outcome you can expect is valuable and exponential.

Holistic learning is more effective and lasting . We invite every part of you to participate in your learning (mental, spiritual, emotional, physical). We’re tired of seeing people spend their precious dollars on an “event,” with little to show for it. We believe that the best way to learn is to combine knowledge with a coaching approach that supports, inspires, and encourages you to be your best.

You are in charge of your learning. We provide abundant tools and support ~ ultimately it’s your choice to make sure you get what you want/need. We want to hear from you if something’s not working for you. And if something IS working for you, well, we definitely want to hear about that … so we can keep it up.

You absolutely, positively cannot fail. No tests, no quizzes, no memorization. Hooray!

We welcome your ideas and comments below:
